Fenty has not Emerged from the DC Pack.

Fenty Emerges From D.C. Pack
The Washington Post is interested in making this race competitive by leaving out several of the following points in their analysis and this poll. Plus, why didn't they just ask registered voters since they are the only ones that count.

Here is the quote from the post:

Overall, voters say overwhelmingly that the District's economic revival has been good for the city as a whole, for the middle class, for neighborhoods, for local businesses and for people like them.

So this is what voters feel the state of the District is for them, as opposed to Mr. Fenty's "feelings" and sentiments during Mayoral debates where he's said that the whole city is a complete mess: I don't need to quote one since he has knocked on your door and told you his problems as well as his "vision" for the District. Right? So did he tell you what you wanted to hear or what he has done and will do later?

Like with his personal choices with regards to DCPS. Mr. Fenty's kids go to private schools, which I don't have a problem with. I do have a problem with him having promised to put his kids in public schools IF HE WINS. The bigger question is why are they not in public schools now? Gee! What do you think about kids being made into a political tool.

Mr Fenty, it seems has chosen to place them in private schools right! So I guess since he is one of them old fashioned dads he can simply chose to place them in public school. Who cares what they want. If we polled your house I bet there are a couple of shaky votes. Ms Cropp sent her kids to and taught in DCPS. Who is better prepared to deal with this issue then Cropp, with a lifetime of interaction with in and running our public schools or Fenty with none?

Once the voters realize the total package contained in the crime bill for which Mr. Fenty was the lone nay vote that he voted against more than the 3 things being reported. According to the WashPost "Although nearly three in four residents say they feel safe in their neighborhoods, they are worried about the city's ability to protect them"

So the most important issues identified in this campaign by the voter all seem to back up the Chariman and what the post forgot the mention it has stated and the DCBOEE records show that Ms. Cropp is the leading fund raiser. Overall, Cropp has collected the most: $1.77 million, Fenty $1.75 million is what the post reported the same day they allowed an aritcle to go out saying Mr. Fenty was leading in fund raising.

As to polls let the voters show on Sept. 12th who is the leader of the District.
