FHA: The Next Housing Bubble? Lawmakers Worry Agency Is Creating Another Boom

Federal Register ( 65324 Vol. 69, No. 217/Wednesday, November 10 2004 Proposed Rules ) HUD is proposing a new rule that would amend 24 CFR 203.23(a) to require a provision in the mortgage for the payment of homeowner or condominium association fees among the other payments that the mortgage is required to make under the mortgage. According to HUD, after performing a study on the various state laws they find that there is "great variance amongst the states with the states". Quoting directly "Further, HUD desires to protect the viability of homeowners's and condominium association by providing a method whereby there would be greater assurance of the associations collecting their fees. HUD also wants to protect hose homeowners who do pay their fees from being assessed for maintenance and other expenses that cannot be paid because other homeowners do not pay their fees."

Want to guess at who made them look. http://stateofcommunities.blogspot.com/2007/09/now-even-hud-knows-that-there-are-big.html

We now know what they did - NOTHING. In fact this same agency has now raised the delinquency limit to 15 percent up from 10 percent. [ave is now closer to 19 percent late] which means that only 85 percent of the bill are going to get paid in a budget that is to equal zero at the end of the year. Want to know who owns the most homes in your community and does not pay their bills.

Bloomberg Reports Derivatives Regulatory Legislation Contains Large Loopholes

They have too since the "Gov" is one of the biggest addicts of this trade. Why else would they let it keep happening, Regulation would bring them into the light as force behind the whole scheme.

Goldman Sachs Congressional Earmark: Bank Subsidiary Gets $3 Million

The simple answer is that GS runs our "gov" and it in turn is one of their biggest investors.

HOWEVER, this story should have gone deeper on the point about the security concern. See these magnates guide our ICBM's and in 1995 the "US Gov" let the Chinese buy the main company Magnequench Inc and then lock, stock and every bolt - they dismantled it and shipped it with all of the rest of the important manufacturing jobs back to China.

But, dont tell anyone cuz if the citizen realized that our ICBM's guidance systems were made by our biggest threat it wouldn't look so good. Besides why should we waist those bloated pentagon contracts on US companies that hire US workers what would make our most sensitive parts here and pay taxes. Clearly the "gov" could care less since 3 million in magnet world buys you nothing.

If there is one measure better calculated than another to produce that state of things so much deprecated by all true republicans, by which the rich are daily adding to their hoards and the poor sinking deeper into penury, it's an exclusive metallic currency. Or if there is a process by which the character of the country for generosity and nobleness of feeling may be destroyed by the great increase and neck toleration of usury, it is an exclusive metallic currency."

At this point in time it is pretty safe to bet that bank's like GS are running our country and pretty much anything that happens in congress is to benefit them and not the people. Consider that GS is still front loading trades and NO ONE HAS STOPPED THEM.nor are they. Want to keep this job Mr. President. DO NOT MESS WITH DOG PEOPLE

Damage Control: Obama Family Makes Donation To D.C. Humane Society

"This is a missed opportunity to set a pet-adoption trend among Americans," says Abbie Moore, executive director of Adopt-a-Pet.com. "With pet relinquishment up 20 to 30 percent due to the poor economy, pets in shelters can use all the help they can get."

I have to say that taking a dog into our First House that would have been gobbled-up by some lover of all things canine and water -- Let's not speculate it would live a pretty privileged life.

Now that dog that you left in the cage at the shelter. The one with the sad eyes, and the silent the tail. That tail was a waggen just days ago and for what the time you have been in office. Why is that Mr. President. Because the staff at every shelter in the Washington DC area was abuzz that the First Family could drop in on their shelter and rescue just one dog.

The world for these after thoughts of American consumerism need a champion. Every day that the Rescue First Dogs was in the life of your family the American, with you the World's Family would see that mans best friend needs one now more then every.

We all, that is folks that adoptd pets, know that they give some of the most unqualified, ummatched love and companionship, something that is very rare in the Federal City, to you and how they treat a child is something that fills facebook pages.

Here is a picture of our dog, He was abondend on the side of the road in KY.  He was brought here by a great group called Homeward Trails. http://www.homewardtrails.org/adoptions.html  and we got him at a great local shop Called Pet Mac

Today, Max spends his time waiting on the family outside of shops and restaurants in upper northwest being greeted by kids, moms & dads alike, sleepin on the couch or havin a play date with his best friend Matilda . It's a great story how he came from the side of the road in KY and all the life's he has touched. Could be a book even, who knows.

What we do know is that the First Pet at 1600 Penn Ave is a mere gift, it was not like the pub was born at his house, from elite friend and we just did not know that until you filled in the details.

Lets be frank here Sir. Ya know blog truth to power. If you would have taken a pet from a shelter so would have thousands of others. Now they are not! So on behalf of all the pets that will now die in one because the first family did a total head faked on the whole community --you know people thought you were going to adopt a pet and if not give up that blackberry cuz you is outta touch.

Dont bite the hand that feeds you is an expression that is famous you have 3 or so years to think about it as you walk you elite water dog that is not generating thousands of pictures of it being a rescued dog from a shelter with the First Family.

Lucky for your that dogs seem to be better than people................and that which you stepped in can be cleaned up. The rest of us do it every day.

When the Carry Trade Unwinds what will these winds blow over?

Australia Cuts Rates to Lowest Since 1960 - NYTimes.com

The Reserve Bank of Australia cut its benchmark cash rate by 25 basis points to 3 percent, its lowest level since March 1960. The bank has so far slashed 425 basis points from the cash rate since September in a bid to stop the country from slipping into its first recession in nearly two decades.

What is not in this article is the why they even tried to keep the rates at that level for so long. In some other areas this has been address and it seems about time to do it here. The whole reason that Australia, Japan and Iceland for that matter, the USA too, have managed their Central Bank policies in such a matter that a global currency shuck and jive would be the best way to describe western financial systems.

Think about obtaining a credit card or line with zero or no interest and than using that money as capital to invest in some other area that would both pay off the original balance when due or for way too long just obtain another card and move the balance. Keep doing until you cant do it noo mo....

This is why Japan held it rate at next to nothing and Australia and Iceland had theirs so high. Now what we are seeing is Australia trying to save their economy so it does not disappear like Iceland's. Well it work and which curreny backed by a private central bank is next. And, where does the Muni bond collapse figure in for the USA.

Here is just one aspect of this unbelievably large pool of money.

Don't look under our balance sheets. So says the FED.

Fed Said to Order Banks to Stay Mum on ‘Stress Test’ Results - Bloomberg.com
April 10 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Federal Reserve has told Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Citigroup Inc. and other banks to keep mum on the results of “stress tests” that will gauge their ability to weather the recession, people familiar with the matter said.

The Fed wants to ensure that the report cards don’t leak during earnings conference calls scheduled for this month. Such a scenario might push stock prices lower for banks perceived as weak and interfere with the government’s plan to release the results in an orderly fashion later this month.

“If you allow banks to talk about it, people are just going to assume that the ones that don’t comment about it failed,” said Paul Miller, an analyst at FBR Capital Markets in Arlington, Virginia.

Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At this point in time who is the fool. BTW anyone notice the Muni Bond markets.

If Jesus was in Orlando he would get arrested for feeding the masses.

The City Council voted to prohibit serving meals to groups of 25 or more people in parks and other public property within two miles of City Hall without a special permit. wesh.com

You see when TPTB want to take pictures of the magical world that is Orlando they can't have large groups of folks that seem unable to leverage all the magical social and workforce policies & practices that Orlando is famous for now can they!

I can see how it would be an outrage for business and government in the main part of the city not want to have to deal with pesky problems, yet when others that do try in Orlando they are arrested. Are these folks in Orlando subhuman! And, I am not talking about the homeless or those helping them.

I bet they would really hate it here will all the do gooders.........except these two... Two of the city's five commissioners voted against the ordinance, including Commissioners Robert Stuart, who runs the homeless shelter Christian Service Center, and Sam Ings, a retired police officer.

The commissioner who pushed for the ordinance, Patty Sheehan, said it was not an "easy day" for her at all. wesh.com

I take it Patty has never been hungry and had no food, let alone homeless cuz if she had she would know that every day of her life is a walk in the park compared to what Orlandoians and many many others now face.

Here is some local flavor about this:

What level of carcinogens is safe for kids these days to be greedy companies.

Group finds carcinogens in kids bath products - USATODAY.com
Many children's bath products contain chemicals that may cause cancer and skin allergies, according to a report released Thursday by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.

Twenty-three of 28 products tested contained formaldehyde, the report says. Formaldehyde — considered a probable carcinogen by the Environmental Protection Agency, — is released as preservatives break down over time in a container.

PRODUCTS TESTED: Full list

Thirty-two of 48 products contained 1,4-dioxane, also considered a probable human carcinogen by the EPA, is a byproduct of a chemical processing techniques used to make petroleum-based ingredients gentler to the skin. Nearly two-thirds of products tested, including Johnson's Baby Shampoo, contained both chemicals, according to the campaign, a coalition of environmental and health groups that includes the Breast Cancer Fund and the Environmental Working Group.

Oh yea in the same article

Manufacturers have known for years that bubble bath, shampoo and other products contain small amounts of formaldehyde and 1,4-dioxane, and have already reduced theses levels significantly, says John Bailey, the council's chief scientist.

Bailey says that preservatives make products safer by preventing the growth of bacteria, fungus and other potentially harmful microbes. There's no reason to take "extraordinary measures" to further reduce levels of these chemicals, he says, because there's no evidence to prove that low levels pose a risk.

See it's safe because there is no evidence.........Hey Mr Lawyerman Bailey does that mean tests were done or since none have been done there is no results? Not that the word of a major US corporation (or any for that matter, like the offshore international conglomerations) that been know to have a few kills under their belts all the while been takin our money. Mr. Laywerman has been proven over and over again and again.

Just fix the problem and try to make amends or go out of business your kind of company is not wanted here. Gone are the days of Corporation's with no SOUL killing us with only a concern of profits and damage control.

The people are rising up and it seems the likes of you are the last to notice.

Did the Boston Globe just slander a good man or just slither by on sloppy reporting.

New Obama technology chief on leave after FBI raid on old office - The Boston Globe
WASHINGTON - An aide to President Obama is on leave from his new job after the FBI raided his old District of Columbia government office yesterday, arresting a city employee and a technology consultant on corruption charges, a White House official said.

Vivek Kundra personal office was not raided it was the of the office space of the the acting chief security officer along with a contractor for a private company. Ya know the ones that were actually named in the suit.

The Globe is totally making it appear that Kundra's office was raided. However he did the right thing by stepping aside to allow the facts come to light as to his knowledge and or even involvement.

Now as to the rag it did the wrong thing by making with it's head line seem like someone at FOX made it up. Now take a mirror and get a look at the beast that killed the newspaper business.

Citigroup just gave 13 million dollars away to a bunch of insurance brokers WTF

Citigroup Said to Pay $13 Million for Scrapped Resort Trips - Bloomberg.com

March 9 (Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc., the recipient of $45 billion in government rescue funds, doled out $13 million as compensation to employees whose trips to resorts the company was forced to scrap, two people familiar with the matter said.

Citigroup paid 1,900 agents of its Primerica Financial Services Inc. unit $5,000 each for missing a three-day stay at a Bahamas resort, the people said, speaking anonymously because the amounts aren’t public. Some 2,000 Smith Barney brokerage advisers got debit cards valued at $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000 for various canceled getaways.

Hello, Regulators and Taxpayers

Primerica is a not even part of the main Citigroup it is a separate company that sells "Financial Planning Services" at least that is what they told me when I went to work there after college. Great sales training btw and one of the things I always remember them saying is that PFS was part of the umbrella of companies and it was something that was pointed out yet mentioned too often.

What is my point. That Primerica's annual conference is paid for out of the profits of Primerica not Citigroup. Another BTW each "broker" is an independent agent and more then likely wrote off the trip for this gig in years past. Not this year thou baby, for just being some how related to Citigroup banking operations these independent agents are getting thousand of tax payers dollars each.

I call on these agents of Primerica to give back each and every dime of that money. If they don't I call on the customers of these agents to not renew those policies when they come to collect those checks this year cuz it is pretty plain to see that the government is going to do nothing to stop this and will likely just give them more money.

How much BS are we going to put up with.....
